Meals on Wheels

There are so many ways to give, and one is through volunteering with us here at The Comal County Senior Citizens Foundation.

Our volunteers are the eyes and ears of the Senior Center.  They help to ensure the health and wellness of our homebound seniors. Do you have an hour or two of spare time in the morning once a week? If so you could help the seniors of your community by volunteering!

Thrift Store

Sorting, pricing and displaying donated items are just a few of the daily tasks our volunteers perform in our thrift store. If you are looking for a place to belong and socialize with the community while also giving back, our thrift store is the place for you!

Front desk

Consider serving as the first point of contact to visitors and members as they enter the center each day.  Many of the people you see at the front desk are volunteers who answer the phone, sign up new members and accept payments.

If you love to read and keep things in order, consider volunteering in our library.

The Serve-a-Senior is a smaller, monthly service project.  Donate your time completing various outside service projects for seniors throughout the community by providing landscaping, and clean-ups at residents’ homes.

Senior Serve-a-Thon

The Senior Serve-a-thon is a collaboration of community organizations and individual volunteers to form one large service project annually, which benefits seniors in New Braunfels.

Volunteer Interest Form

It is our mission to “enrich the lives of aging adults.” When you donate to the Comal County Senior Citizens Foundation, your gift will enable us to help improve the quality of life for older adults and their families in Comal and Guadalupe counties.

If you would like to make a donation in memory/honor of a loved one, please indicate their name and the name and address where you would like the acknowledgment to be sent.

We accept in-kind gifts, or gifts of stocks, land or other assets.

All contributions are tax deductible

All contributions will make a difference in the life of a senior.

If you prefer a more traditional means of giving, you can send us a check or money order. Another means of giving is through matching donations from your place of employment. Check with your Payroll or Human Resources department if this is an option for you.
